↗️Open a page in Internet Explorer

Because some sites still require it

If you access a site - Such as the California Electronic Adjudication Management System - that requires Internet Explorer Mode, you will likely need to set it up to always open in Internet Explorer mode. These settings expire every 30 days, so you will need to re-add them every month you need to access the site

Set up Microsoft Edge to show the Internet Explorer mode button

The first thing to do will be to set up Microsoft Edge to show the Internet Explorer mode button. In Microsoft Edge, click the 3 dot menu at the top right, and then click settings.

Click Appearance on the left and scroll down to "Select which buttons to show on the toolbar:" Click the slider on next to "Internet Explorer mode (IE mode) button. The IE mode button appears in the toolbar

Add Sites to Internet Explorer mode

Still in Settings, click on Default browser. Under Internet Explorer compatibilty, verify the option next to "Allow sites to be reloaded in Internet Explorer mode (IE mode)" is set to "Allow"

Next to "Internet Explorer mode pages" click Add

Copy the address of the site that needs to open in IE mode, and click Add.

Internet Explorer mode pages expire after 30 days. When they do, you will see a message indicating that the page will no longer load in Internet Explorer mode. Click "Add Back" in the prompts and that will allow you 30 more days in IE mode!
