📱Android Phone Setup
Step by Step instructions for setting up your Android phone for your Microsoft 365 accounts!
Install applications
Open the Google Play store and search for Authenticator, Outlook, and Teams
Install Microsoft Authenticator, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Teams
Set up Applications and Multifactor Authentication
Open Outlook first. Select "Add Account"
Enter your work email address in the "Enter your Email" box. Select "Continue"
Enter your work email password in the Password field. Select "Sign In"
If prompted to Add another account, select "Maybe Later"
Enable notifications if required.
Go back to the home screen and open Authenticator
When prompted, allow Authenticator to send notifications
The Next two screens are prompts that will accept the license agreement and send user data to Microsoft. Select Accept the license agreement, but the send user data is up to you. Select Continue
The next screen is where we add your account. Select "Add Work or School account
Click Sign in
You should be prompted to select an account to continue. Select your work email address
Click Next here to open a web browser
sign into the web browser with your credentials
Once Signed in, you will get "Action Required" screen. Tap Next
Click Next again
Select "Pair your account to the app by clicking this link"
Authenticator is now configured
Go back to your browser and select Next
You will see a number on your screen and a notification on the top. Remember the number and tap the notification
Type the number you remembered in the blank provided, then click Yes
click Next in the browser and now multifactor is registered! Select Done.
Back at the home screen, open up Teams. Select Get Started, and select your notification preferences.
Enter your email address and select Next
You might be prompted to download the Intune Company Portal. If you are prompted, select "Go to store" and Install on the Intune Company Portal
Open the Intune Company Portal Sign in, and then Teams will work!
